About Enlightened Hands Massage and Bodywork
On July 21st in 2006, newly minted massage therapist Christina Valentin-Macias first opened the doors of Enlightened Hands Massage and Bodywork in Uxbridge's Bernat Mill complex. It was her vision that this would be a place dedicated to chronic pain management, a place of relief and hope, a place to promote and enhance healing. And so it came to be. Then, suddenly, a year later...
On July 21st in 2007, the Bernat Mill burned to the ground utterly destroying the sanctuary she had created. But with great persistence, first in temporary quarters and then in its current North Uxbridge location, like the Phoenix rising from its nest of flames, Enlightened Hands Massage and Bodywork grew and throve, as one chronic pain sufferer after another found relief there and passed the word to fellow sufferers.
Having just celebrated her fifth anniversary as its founder, Christina has been joined at Enlightened Hands by two colleagues, Rebecca Amir and Brenda Rennie.
